While the Wisconsin PSC announced the 2022 Broadband Expansion Grant winners in June, each winning ISP -- in our case, Spectrum -- had to work through contract negotiations with the State before any funding could be released. This process was completed just before November 30.
The next step is for the Town to complete a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Spectrum. The MOU will define the project relationship between the Town and Spectrum, giving us an opportunity to address the unique issues in our neck of the woods and establish a baseline to measure progress and completion.
